Course overview
Abrasive wheels come in a vast range of shapes and sizes and are used in numerous applications in the workplace including cutting, grinding and fettling.
This course aims to ensure that those using abrasive wheels are able to do so safely and in accordance with current best practice and legal requirements.
course objectives
Identify the different types of abrasive wheels available on the market.
Interpret the marking on abrasive wheels in order to ensure that they select the correct wheel for the task.
Safely mount abrasive wheels.
Inspect abrasive wheels and take action where faults are found.
Inspect abrasive wheel equipment.
Course Length
Half day – includes practical training if required.
Course Outcome
On completion of this course, candidates will receive a CTC Ltd certificate, valid for 3 years.
Alternatively, why not get an industry recognised NPORS card, valid for 3 years.
