The aim of this qualification is to recognise the knowledge, skills and competence demonstrated by an individual in the workplace. This Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Construction Operations -­ General Building Operations provides the opportunity for individuals who specialise in general building operations to demonstrate their competence. There is also a Level 2 NVQ Certificate in this occupational area. The units in this qualification are derived from National Occupational Standards.

This NVQ can be completed at the candidates own pace by means of on-site assessment, knowledge questions and recorded discussions. Our fully qualified assessors will help with the completion of your portfolio to ensure the qualification criteria is achieved.

Achieving this qualification will facilitate upgrading the green CSCS labourers card to a blue CSCS skilled workers card. Candidates will also have to complete the relevant CITB touchscreen test.

Learners will complete this NVQ at their own pace so the duration can vary.

On completion of this NVQ, candidates will receive a ProQual certificate, valid for a lifetime.
